PhotoMerchant is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Family Images for Lasting Memories or the F.I.L.M. Project. The F.I.L.M. Project donates professional family portraits to cancer patients and terminally ill patients through a network of volunteer photographers throughout the US.

The F.I.L.M. Project aims to provide comfort to families facing the possibility of losing a loved one by offering them a way to honour and cherish their loved ones for generations. Project volunteers travel to homes, hospices or hospitals to conduct private portrait sessions. The photos are professionally retouched and presented to families on an archival DVD that can be used to create prints.
