This notice is for all Australian PhotoMerchant Direct Fulfillment users; the cost of Toll Priority Shipping has been increased to reflect new pricing costs from Nulab Professional Imaging (effective immediately).

Toll Domestic Normal was $15.00, now $16.50
Toll Domestic Large was $22.00, now $30.00

Why such a big price hike on large and is this because of the carbon tax?

  Nulab upgraded their pricing back in January and we’ve only just updated our pricing to reflect the change. I’m not sure why exactly. It’d be a shame to blame everything on the carbon tax.

I am confused, ok, so this new foto merchant is linked in with Nulab in Australia somehow ?
I see photo merchant adverts, marketing to anyone & everyone on every webpage, is this now for everyone, not just pro photographers? so our clients can just go direct to Nulab through foto merchant? why do we need to have photo merchant marketing prints & canvas, mounting etc to our clients & why would we want to order our prints through foto merchant when we are already being serviced really well, directly by Nulab ?

  Only just found your post, but yes, the new Fotomerchant (and the old PhotoMerchant) is integrated directly into Nulab in Australia. This allows photographers to sell print products directly through their website and have the printing and shipping automatically distributed to the photographer or the customer.
  
  We’re a website, e-commerce and marketing solution for enthusiast through to professional photographers – we do not target the consumer as a place to buy photos, we simply help facilitate the process on behalf of the photographer.
  
  Fotomerchant also comes with a Self Fulfilment solution that allows photographers to sell their own custom prints from any lab they use. The point is to make it easier for you to sell online.

this says just for the australian users but when i went into shipping for US it has a HUGE price jump. is this a mistake? burrell doesn’t even charge shipping only a $2.00 package and handling fee i use them for all of my printing.

  Burrell have only recently removed their shipping option and we are working with them to get our software in sync with their software to adapt to the pricing changes.
